He is a Brazilian-American with Italian and Bulgarian ancestry who moved to the US in 2005 as a volunteer to assist the City of New Orleans with its recovery efforts. Since then, Max has been involved in the Disaster Restoration Industry, working for companies like National Disaster Solutions, Belfor, and a few ServiceMaster franchises.
5 years overseeing and assisting CAT teams to mitigate and recover large losses in Louisiana right after hurricane Katrina; properties like the Energy Centre, the Cotton Mill, the American Can, the LA Department of Agriculture and Forestry, a BlueGreen Property in the French quarter, the Forked Island E. Broussard Elementary School, and the Camp Leroy Johnson by the Pontchartrain Lake.
5 years in California (L.A. Metro and San Fernando Valley) handling high-end clients, scoping losses, dealing with several burned properties per day, overseeing multiple fire restoration and deodorization teams addressing structures and personal property, in addition to being in charge of expansion, quality, training, facilities and all contents being processed on and off-site.
